Just wanted to let everyone know that Lilly is back to normal! She loves her Cool Whip containers. They are her favorite toys.

Football @ Rick's

We had a few people over @ Rick's Saturday to watch football, and the fight. It was such a happy day due to the Duffys big news. It is such a great feeling to see the people you care about SO happy!

Our dear friends the Duffys got word last weekend that they have been approved for the adoption process in Russia. They were sent pics of the newest member of the Duffy clan, and they are on top of the world. They came over Friday so we could go have dinner, and they told us, and recorded our reaction. It was so cute, and no doubt I cried like it was my child. I could not think of 2 more deserving people. They are the most wonderful couple, and are going to be outstanding parents. They head to Russia the day after Thanksgiving to start the process and hope to have little Duffy home by February. Please keep this wonderful family in your prayers on their exciting journey. I love you guys, and seriously could not be more excited!!!

Lilly's out of the hospital!

I went to visit Lilly @ the hospital today, and they said she could come home!!! I can tell she feels so much better, her tail was wagging, and she was ready to GO! The vet said you can go ahead and take her because she is not happy in that kennel. She has been sleeping all day, and I just let her out to chase a few chipmunks. We have a couple pills to take and we shall see how that goes tonight, not to mention the yuck can dog food. So Miss Lilly is on the mend.

November beach weekend.....happiness.

I went shopping Saturday with my mom, and her dear friend from college, Mrs. Charlotte. It was so much fun, and Charlotte is a TRIP! I love seeing my mom at the beach with her friends, nothing makes her happier.
Saturday afternoon I headed over to Pensacola to spend the night with my dear friends Jacquie & Wes, and their family. Jacq and I have been friends since 2nd grade, and I adore her. I also got to see her parents Mike & Lee. This family is SO WONDERFUL. You can't help but be happy when you are around them.

Sunday morning I got to wake up and play with their beautiful boys Elliot & Will. They really are the most precious little boys ever! Elliot is so funny, and baby Will is so sweet. What a GREAT way to end my beach trip.

My Mom, Mrs. Charlotte, Jacq, Wes, Elliot, Will, Mike, Lee, they all make my heart smile! Reminds me how lucky I am to have such wonderful people in my life.

Doggie Hospital

Sweet baby Lilly is spending the night in Doggie Hospital! I am so sad about it! She was really sick today, going to the bathroom in the house (which she NEVER does), throwing up, tucking her tail, just acting super strange. So finally I took her to the vet and she had A LOT of blood in her stool. They said she needed to spend the night and they would give her an IV and a catheter. Poor baby is just sitting in her cage sick and all alone and that makes me feel like a bad mom. The house is so sad without her. So please say a little prayer for her. Hope the little girl is ok tomorrow. Update to come.

I couldn't find Lilly at our beach house, finally I found her out on the porch soaking up the sun! I walked out took pics, and she didn't budge! She LOVES the sun.

Dinner @ The Red Bar

After a long day of shopping Friday my mom and I went to dinner at The Red Bar in Grayton Beach. This place is FABULOUS, and if you've never been, you must go next time you are in Destin, Santa Rosa, Seaside, or anywhere near. We had the crab cakes, YUMMY!!!

Bemer & Lilly

Lilly and Bemer are quite the duo. They are so cute together! For those that don't know Bemer, he is my mom's shihtzu, and spoiled ROTTEN! He is a few years older than Lilly so not so much interested in playing with Lilly. Pretty sure she bugs the crap out of him.

Car ride home, both had to sit in my mom's lap. Lilly kept trying to push Bemer out, it was hilarious.

I put her in her bed, but she just had to sit in his bed. Then he had to be in the bed. So they had a stand off. Just like kids!

Halloween @ Johnny's

HAlloween night we went over to Johnny's to help hand out candy. He lives on what seems to be the bussiest street in Bham for trick-or-treating. They block off the streets, and even bus kids in for this. It was CRAZY! We went through $100 worth of candy EASY! Katie, Scott, and the kids stopped by, and after the madness died down, I went with Johnny to meet all his neighbors. Good times.

Football Reminder....

Just wanted to remind everyone that my OLE MISS REBELS beat AUBURN last weekend. I wasn't allowed to talk about it or rub it in because Rick was so mad, but HERE I AM! HOTTY TODDY! GO REBS!!!!
