Our first wedding shower!

5 of my bridesmaids (and husbands) hosted Rick and I a wedding shower last weekend in Hattiesburg, and we had SO MUCH FUN!!! The location, the food, drinks, friends, it was PERFECT! There is nothing like have all these people that have meant so much to me for so long, totally welcome Rick in to the crew. It seemed like they had known him for years. It just made me so happy. Rick and I talked about how much fun we had on the way back to Bham and how lucky we are to have all these people who care so much about us in our lives. Thanks to all who traveled to be there, those that hosted, and those that came to be a part of our first shower. WE LOVE YOU!
Here we are with our host: Bonnie, Kelly, Chrissy aka "Fancy", Kristen, and Taylor.
Us with all the guys.
And the girls.
Don't we look like we had fun?
These are my friends from Goula: Martin, Kristen, Allison, and Aaron.

Oh Brother

Since both of my brothers had birthdays in the past 2 weeks, I thought I would post a few pics of the 3 of us. I just adore my brothers and would not change one minute of the torture they put me through as a child.

I can't believe its been a year since we lost our dad.
Happy birthday brothers! I LOVE YOU!

Save the Date's

Our Save the Date's went out last week (better late than never), and I think they turned out great! Thanks to our engagement photographer Elizabeth Pettey, she not only took the pics, but she also designed the Save the dates. You can see her site by clicking here. I guess it's official, we are getting married 08.21.10!!! YAY!!!

Destin Memorial Weekend

My dear friend from high school and college, Martin, invited Rick and I down to Destin last weekended for the holiday, and what a weekend it was! Another one of my dear friends Joe was also down, and staying just down the street from us. It was so awesome for 2 of my best guy friends to get to know Rick and spend the weekend with us together. It made me so happy!
We also got to meet Joe's new girlfriend Anne, and OMG! I LOVE HER! She is so much fun and totally great for Joe.
Saturday we went out to Crab Island.
Joe snorkeled most of the day, pretty sure he thought he was a dolphin. He went around and collected all the hermit crabs he could find and made a hermit crab party. The crabs were not happy about this, but it seemed to really entertain Joe.

We had a PERFECT weekend! I could not have asked for a more perfect Memorial Day weekend! Thanks to Martin, the Millettes, Joe & Anne, for making what would have been a sad weekend for me, a totally awesome one. My dad would want it no other way!
