Back from Vegas

We had a BLAST in Las Vegas! I love that city, and will go back for sure. Here is my fav pic of the trip. I will be making a slide show soon, but this will have to hold you over until then. We went to TAO Thursday night, and ran in to our old pal Michael Phelps!!!!! I will post pics of him as well. More info to come too, waiting on everyone else's pics. For now, we all made it home safe and sound.

VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS

OK, so I am leaving @ 8am tomorrow for Las Vegas! Rachel Waters, Hot Dog Click, Lizzy Bears, and I are all heading out for Jessidesign's Bachelorette Bash! I am SUPER pumped, and so ready to be on our way. We started planning in May, and it seems like it has taken forever to get here. We are staying at the Mirage (I tried to put up a pic, but having computer problems). Let me know if anyone has any Vegas travel tips, or things we should do or see. We will only be there until Saturday afternoon, but I am SURE we will make the most of it. This is going to be wild, so don't expect post until Monday or there after. Have a SUPER weekend everyone! I know I will. Oh, and it is my good friend from high school Martin Milette's birthday Saturday, so those that know him, wish him happy day. PEACE!

Football Saturday @ Rick's

Rick said he "needed" to cook some ribs so he had people over Saturday for the Ole Miss vs Bama game. Sad to say Ole Miss just couldn't pull out the W, but they put up a hell of a fight. As for the ribs, they were FABULOUS! The meat was falling off the bone. Yummy.
Rick moved the TV from his room into the living room so we didn't miss a minute of football.

The McKibbins stopped by for a minute. Rick's Aunt Jan and Uncle Bill were in town for the game from North Carolina, so they had pizza with Scott, Katie, Andrew, & Claire, then dropped by the party.

It was a fun day. Many more to come once the kitchen is actually finished!

YouthService Benefit

I went to a benefit @ the Barking Kudu last Thursday with Matthew & Pappy. Had a great time, but pretty sure someone slipped something in my drink. WHEW! I won a deluxe night at the Wynfrey Hotel right here in Bham. Not sure what I will do with that, but I was SUPER pumped because I NEVER win anything. I think it is a sign my luck is changing. May have to gamble a little in Vegas now. JACKPOT HERE I COME!!! Anyway, here is a video of Matthew's most awesome dancing skills, sorry it is a little dark. ENJOY!

Results....

Here are all the stickers I pulled out of Lilly's hair for 45 minutes. It was tons of fun, and I'm sure I didn't find them all. I think she is testing me.

Lilly escaped

Lilly escaped the back yard this morning, and came back looking like this! She must have rolled her little head in some sort of sticker bush, and now she is a mess. I am going to have to pull all the stickers out of her hair then give her a bath. GREAT! She better be glad she is so cute.

Dusty & Jess Auburn Tailgate Shower

Off to Auburn

We are heading to Auburn this weekend for Jess & DO's tailgate shower and the Auburn vs Arkansas game. Erik & LG will be there from Nashville, and Lizzy is coming from Atlanta, so excited. Rick has been in Oklahoma all week, so pretty excited to spend the weekend with him too. As for the game, it should be interesting since Auburn just fired their offensive coordinator, Tony Franklin. So, BIG weekend ahead.

Football + Rick's Famous Margaritas

I had some people over Saturday to watch the Auburn vs Vandy game, and drink Rick's famous Margaritas. Rick decided he should have a margarita every time Aub scored, and that didn't turn out well. Vandy kept the game close, which lead to more margaritas than Aub points it seemed. We had a great time, other than Auburn's first loss to Vandy in 60+ yrs. So to drown the Auburn fans sorrows, we headed to Oasis.....
for a serious foosball tournament. The guys tried to forget about the game and focus on the foosball. FUN NIGHT!

Sink bath

Lilly is loving the kitchen remodel because she is now getting her baths in the new sink! This makes it so much easier for me because I don't have to bend over the bath tub and use a bug cup to rinse her. Rick likes to sit in the other room and call her name to get her excited and remind her she is stuck! Fun times at bath time!!
