HAPPY BIRTHDAY FANCY!!!

So it is OFFICIALLY Chrissy "FANCY" Cullinane's birthday!!! I am in Hattiesburg at her apt, while she gets her beauty rest for the big celebration. We are heading to Biloxi in the morning, to shop and play. I can't wait. Fancy, I love you so much, thanks for always being such a FABULOUS friend. You are 1 in a million, thanks for being you. I hope all your dreams come true this year. I am so excited to be here with you, there is no where I would rather be. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

My friend Beth went on vacation with her boyfriend last week, and it looked so fabulous I thought I would share! They went to THE CAVES RESORT & SPA, in NEGRIL, JAMAICA. As stated by the resort's website:

Each of its 10 handcrafted cottages is planted in a garden on the edge of the sea. It's the perfect choice for guests who value spirituality, privacy, romance and verdant beauty. Its two seafront acres hide many secrets - sundecks and nooks, even grottos in the cliff itself. One of these grottos is designed for dining - lit with candles and strewn with flowers. The Aveda Mini-Spa looks out on deep blue water. The high-ceilinged cottages are made of wood and stone and roofed in thatch.

She said when the bartenders & cooks go home at night they welcome you to go to the kitchen & bar and help yourself. They had dinner one night in a cave, and said it was awesome. Beth highly reccomends the resort to anyone.

Tom's Chicken Spaghetti

I went over to my good friend from ole Pascagoula High School c/o '97, Tom's house for Chicken Spaghetti & a LOST party. It was all fun, entertaining, until the show came on, and everyone was in a trance. Since I don't watch lost, I decided to take it to the house. Pretty sure they didn't even notice that I was gone. While we were there, Lilly played with Tom's dog Marlin, and chased his cat. Good times. THANKS TOM!

MISSISSIP this weekend

I am heading to Mississip this weekend! I will be in Hattiesburg Friday night, and Biloxi Saturday & Sunday. If anyone is going to be around, please let me know, would love to see all my friend's smiling faces. AND WOULD LOVE YOU TO SEE MINE TOO!!!

COLD COLD COLD

Why the hell is it so cold outside?? It was sunny and 65 Monday and now freezing, the high today is 41. BURRRR!

Lilly's new do

Lilly went to the groomer yesterday, and they cut off ALL her hair! She looks pretty goofy, and seems to be a little embarrassed. She also woke me up at 3:30 am because of the weather, the tornado alarms were going off, there was tons of lightning, thunder, things hitting the windows, I think hail. Pretty scary! So after I gave her a little doggie Valium, we went back to bed around 4am, then she was back awake at 5:30 am! I WAS NOT HAPPY! Needless to say, I am a little sleepy today.

OSCAR NIGHT

So I told Kelly to go put on her most FABULOUS PJ's for the Oscars, and this is how she came out. I CRACKED UP!!! She had a beautiful UPDO, formal earrings, and as you can see the brightest RED lipstick possible. Then we ran to McDonald's and forgot to record the actual show, so we missed the first hour. All in all it was an interesting night! Thanks Kel, for making me smile!

JESS & DUSTY

Today is a special day becuase 2 of my FABULOUS friends Dusty Otwell & Jessica Chapman got engaged! They are in San Diego for the weekend and he dropped to one knee and she said yes! I could not be happier for them, they are a GREAT couple, and a joy to be around. CONGRATS GUYS, I LOVE YOU! You can see pics of the ring on Dusty's Blog, the link is to the right.

OFFICE PUPPY

A girl at my office brought her lab/boxer mix puppy to work today! His name is Duke, and I REALLY wanted to bring the cute baby home! He was precious, puppy breath & all!

PIZZA PARTY

A few of us went to Dave's Pizza for Shay's birthday (which is actually Sunday, Feb. 24). We had a FABULOUS waitor! I got a little upset and had to step outside, and he came and brought me tissue! SO SWEET! All in all it was a fun gathering, hot dog curled her hair, I cried, Dusty announced that it was ELVIS DOG's actual birthday and he has now graduated to adult dog food, and ARCHIE DID NOT DO THE SOLJA BOY as promised. Dusty gave HD a fabulous photo book he made online from the year 2005, she LOVED it, she cried and couldn't even look at it! What a great gift. You all know I am totally obsessed with pics, so be on the look out, I feel a few photobooks coming on. Oh, and Bagby has a cast on his foot, and said he couldn't shave his face because of it, I LOVED THAT!

MY BEST FRIEND

For those that don't know, this is my best friend Traci! I didn't have the blog last month on her birthday so I just wanted to introduce her. Long story short, our moms are best friends from Pascagoula High School class of '69. When Traci was born she was named Traci Lynn after my mom Betty Lynn. Since the day she was born January 18, 1980, we have done everything together! We are VERY different, and through thick and thin, we have reamined the best of friends. I ADORE HER (and her fabulous family)! Now she lives in Nashville, so we are only a short drive apart. So here's to best friends, never forget to let them know how important they are to you. Traci helped make me who I am today, and for that I am so thankful!

Lilly and I went on a car ride to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather this weekend, and she couldn't get her head far enough out of the window! Then she had to take a break in her car seat. Hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weekend as much as we did!

Pascagoula Mardi Gras

Wyn & I went to Pascagoula Mardi Gras this past weekend. For those who have never been, it is FABULOUS! I am pretty sure more of my friends come home for this than any other holiday. Everyone from my mom's graduating class, my older brother's class, my class, kids I babysat, you get the point. Even out-of-towners have a BLAST (Fancy loves it more than most!). This year we were all supporting a friend of mine from high school, CHIP COLE, who is running for city council. As usual we had a blast.
